The exuberant vocals and razor sharp violin of the title track carry a momentum that propels the listener beyond the constraints of the song itself. One fan memorably declared that it made her “want to go and break something - but in a good way”. ‘Shadowboxer’ recalls the laid back swagger of the Velvet Underground while the eerie violin, crashing drums and roaring guitars of ‘The Ballad of Billy Green’ reveal the darker side of the band.
